Security
Security to guarantee a quality service
Thanks to our integrated network, in France and in Europe, you can benefit from a uniform handling process and a homogenous level of quality and security to ensure that the delivery meets your expectations. Quality controls, tracker scanning and the video tracing systems used increase the security of your parcels and the reliability of our system.
Scanning
Your parcels are scanned at each key stage, allowing us to keep them under control and provide you with the Exatrace service. We also perform other random controls known as "quality scanning" to increase the security of your parcels. These scans can be performed at different stages during the transport of your parcels.
Parcel video-tracking
Exacentres and Exatris (sorting offices) are equipped with a parcel video-tracking system. Video-tracking ensures real-time security for your parcels in transit, in the depot and in the sorting office:
Example : At the Beaunce Exatris, more than 200 cameras track the parcels in transit. This system enables the tracking and video recording of each parcel during the entire transit process.
The images are used as legal evidence in the event of a dispute.
Site security
To protect Exacentres, Exapaq has implemented infrared barriers for intruder detection, along with video surveillance systems and security patrols. Your parcels are therefore protected in sealed swap bodies at all sites and during their transfer between Exacentres.
Control procedures
We have put in place control procedures to increase security for your products during transit within our network.
Some examples:
- Systematic bagging For all parcels weighing less than 1 kg. The bags are sealed and tracked with the same traceability as that of parcels.
- Swop body sealing Scanning (with seal number attachment): on departure, arrival and at the start of unloading. The unloading of swop bodies is carried out under video surveillance. Cross-check inventories are performed in real-time to check parcels in transit compared to the list of expected parcels.
- Shipment tracking inventories In the dispatch depots, several inventories are taken to monitor the position of parcels for all clients or one client in particular in order to immediately identify possible gaps in the service and to react proactively depending on the situation.
